  1. In some (very few) cases the FC and Prodigy software seem not  to

  3. get  along.  We have found nothing wrong with the modem,  yet  on

  5. those very few systems, the Prodigy causes a lock with the FC9624
  6.  
  7. (and  other same Rockwell chip based modems, not just  Zoom).  If
  8.  
  9. the modem does work with the included software, then the modem is
  10.  
  11. OK  and the only answer is the FX9624 (External) or  a  different
  12.  
  13. internal Zoom modem (AFC [cheaper] or FCV [more expensive]).
